CY Energy was established within METU Technopolis in 2019 with TÜBİTAK Teknogirişim Capital Support. Our company, which provides R&D and engineering services specifically for renewable energy projects, has completed the R&D processes of the Rooftop Solar Tracking System, which is the first R&D project, as of July 1, 2020 and the field tests of the prototype product of the project are continuing.We were deemed worthy of EMRA & ELDER special award as one of the 24 entrepreneurs who appeared on the Demo Day stage at the Inspiration Weekend event held in Sapanca between November 1-2, 2019 within the scope of the New Ideas New Business Acceleration Program, which was organized for the 15th time in 2019 by METU Technopolis.We were entitled to become an incubation initiative and to work at the ITU Technopolis incubation office in the acceleration program "ITU Çekirdek" organized by ITU Technopolis, which is within the body of Istanbul Technical University, one of the well-established universities of Turkey.We qualified to be among the period entrepreneurs of the 2020/2 period in the Ankara leg of TIM-TEB Entrepreneurship House, one of the biggest entrepreneurship programs in Turkey.
He graduated from Gazi University Engineering and Architecture Faculty Civil Engineering Department in 2008. In 2012, he completed his master's degree at Gazi University, Institute of Science, Department of Civil Engineering and received the title of Civil Engineer.Respectively; He worked as Hydroelectric Power Plant Design, Hydroelectric Power Plant Consultancy, Hydroelectric Power Plant Construction Project Manager, Solar Power Plants Construction Project Manager and Solar Power Plants Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Manager.He worked as a project manager and in-house manager in most of his professional career.Since 2016, he has worked as a project manager in solar power plant installations of 80 MW, especially in Turkey's first licensed solar power plant, and in 2018, he worked as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) manager. By opening his private company as of June 2018, he has been working on the development, project design, installation and operation & maintenance of solar power plants. In order to increase efficiency in rooftop GES projects, it continues to work with TÜBİTAK on solar tracking system and battery supported smart grid systems. We are providing investor consultancy services for 13,2 MW Hydro Electric Power Plant and 113 MWp Solar Energy Power Plant.

We were entitled to be a 2020/4 pre-incubation initiative in the acceleration program "ITU Çekirdek" organized by İTÜ Teknokent, which is within the body of Istanbul Technical University, one of Turkey's well-established universities, for entrepreneurs. We have taken our first step towards ITU Çekirdek Big Bang, one of the biggest entrepreneurship events in Turkey.
We were entitled to be among the 2020/2 term entrepreneurs in the Ankara leg of TIM-TEB Enterprise House, one of the biggest entrepreneurship programs in Turkey.
We informed the President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, who visited our company on September 1, 2020, about our rooftop solar tracking system project, where we are doing R&D studies. We thank him for his interest and support.
